I’m sure its a bummer. It was a bummer here in DeKalb at first, but I’m having a great time now. I’m sure that things will get better. I didn’t have to do to much stuff to get setup here, since I kept my old bank account (USAA) and didn’t change state of residence, but I’m probably doing something illegal so I’m sure some government rottweilers will be at my door any day.

i didn’t quite realize what all it takes to pull up stakes and go somewhere else… there’s a lot of crap that you have to do.

thomas, i don’t really know what to say to you. i miss you here and i realize that you’re probably pretty miserable right now. i’m sorry. i wish i could be there for you or something. everything you know and everyone you’ve been close to has just been ripped away from you. that’s gotta hurt. it didn’t help that you were here and we didn’t think anything different, then two weeks later you’re not. i don’t really know what to say.
i’m flying in to IAH sunday, and i’m going to do the best i can to see you.
