Google already owns us, because they are controlled by the CIA. Or maybe it's the NSA. Most likely, though, it's some undisclosed government agency that we will never know about.

Haha...I'll make sure to use a fish to pick up my cookie (also liked the soapbox tag, btw).

I have to say, though, that I honestly don't love McDonald's for it's cheap, crappy food. Because I have come to the realization that their cheap crappy food is not only (A) cheap but also (B) crappy. So in the interest of being redundant, I'll explain that. Their food is cheap. Dirt cheap. And the profit margin they make is astonishing. Yet what do the workers get paid? Jack shit. (And I mean going all the way back down to the farmers/ranchers/slaughterhouse workers). Also, as mentioned, the food is crappy for you. So I guess I have become aware of just a little more of the world around me, and am doing my small part, even though it may not affect anything at all, by choosing to not eat there. This goes for most fast food, in fact. I've pretty much decided that it's just better (both for me and in principle) if I don't eat it.

I still say you need to read Fast Food Nation. As far as Wal-Mart goes, they're going to own us all someday. Unless Google does that first.
