So, for better or worse, the behavior of starting the comment at the top of the page without showing the body of the actual entry is the same in my theme as it is on thelucid.com where the theme originated:

http://www.thelucid.com/articles/2007/10/30/proprietary-css-rules-are-we-returning-to-1995#comments

So, the behavior is "working as intended" as far as I can tell.

As far as widgets, I haven't played with them at all, so I haven't had any need and thus can't comment on whether the theme supports it (I trust that it doesn't since you say so) nor what it would take for it to support it.

I doubt those were the answers you were looking for... I really need to take their updates from upstream and update my theme, but as always, other things seem to take priority...

Awesome theme!

I've got it set up on my wordpress blog, but have noticed a glitch on the comments page of a post. On the home page of the blog, and a post with no comments, the "No Comments" Button works just fine, it takes you to that page and displays the post and the sidebar and the comment input area.
However, when there are comments, and you click "X Comments," it takes you to a page that displays only the comments and doesn't display the post. Also, the sidebar doesn't have anything in it and the image is off. Is this changeable?

One more thing, the theme doesn't support widgets, is that on purpose?

Thanks!

<a href="http://chobas.com/wordpress/themes/lucid_20080413-1.tar.gz" rel="nofollow">20080413-1</a> is now the current version, with gravatar support. It looks like everyone will have to just edit lucid.js, because having a non-absolute reference will break search on pages that aren't the home page (e.g. individual post pages, etc).

In the file lucid.js of the theme is another hard coded reference to '/blog/wp-content(...)'. Just replace it by 'wp-content(...)' without '/blog/'

Sorry, I have to tell you, that the theme does not work on my blog. I use Wordpress 2.5. After installing and activating it, the 3 buttons on the upper right are gray boxes and the images of the post-subject and the calendar are missing too. If I search something, a new instance of the page openes under the live-search box.
