Poll

Ok. Informal poll to all the A&M folk. I’m not asking for personal experience here, but would you consider a 3 or 12 keg party to be a big one, by A&M standards? Some guys were talking after work, so I’m curious… How many kegs would it take at A&M to make it be considered a big or the biggest party?

Oh, and this was funny…

i think generally a 3-kegger would be considered to be a pretty good-sized party. but that’s not really speaking from experience…

Considering everything in Texas is bigger, better, and well…BETTER than anything from any other state, i would say take their best keg story and add 5 and you got an A&M keg party!!

hmm well the biggest i’ve seen had 3 kegs but that honestly wasn’t very big, so i’d say at least 4 or 5… more than 10 would be humongous, gosh

The answer, of course, comes from cockeyed: http://www.cockeyed.com/inside/keg/keg.html

I have it on good authority (i.e. a guy in my senior design class) that a large party he recently attended had 22 kegs.

I’ve been to a 3 keg party with about 40-50 people and they didn’t tap the last keg.

I’ve been talking with the neighbors lately (we just moved in last week) and they said a house 2 doors down from us regularly (every 2-3 wks) throws parties with something in the neighborhood (haha) of 300 people and they get 10 kegs, trashcan punch, liquor, and i don’t know what else they listed, but a whole friggin bunch of alcohol. this is going to be an interesting fall semester…
