xmms & rhythmbox

Since I can’t post comments anonymously to this guy’s blog, then I guess I’ll have to settle for just posting to my own and hope that he sees it somehow… Anyway, yeah, I agree that rythmbox probably sucks, but if I’ve ever used it, then I never used it again and have no recollection of ever having used it. I use xmms under linux and it’s ok. But my real beef is, WHY ISN’T THERE A WINAMP-CLASS MP3 PLAYER FOR LINUX!?! Nothing I have found even comes close.

    dood, I think rhythmbox is sweet…the only thing that sucks about it is you can’t play CDs in it (you can rip ‘em though)..so, like you I use xmms for CDs…

    I sometimes use mplayer for that sorta thing too…
