Ever looked at yourself in the mirror and asked yourself the question, “Like a gantt chart?”?

Haven’t done much today. Too much ebay. Read a bunch while trying to figure out if I can do shared fibre channel disks under raid 5 under lvm under gfs. If anybody besides Cole understands that, then you get a cookie. Rearranged the corner of my living room that is my “office”. Moved one table to the other side of the other table. Now I feel weird, ’cause my workstation moved like 3 feet. The move was so that I could increase the density of stuff, but as I’ve recently learned, more density does not always equal betterness. I need some nerdy/geeky bookends for my workstation. The floor is now open to suggestions. That is all.

Not exactly bookends, but these would be good. They are definitely nerdy/geeky.

Btw, if you could make that fibre channel work it would be really awesome.

heh, i hadn’t seen any updates on your blog in quite a while, then all of a sudden there are six updates. funny how that works…

oh, and i kinda understand that thomasspeak… you’re trying to share your fancy schmancy new hard drives on your network under some kind of file manager with some kind of file system. am i close? do i get a cookie? maybe half of one? oh, and raid 5 is a way to do the raid with bits arrayed on 3 disks or so, and one disk at the end that sums up the bits or something like that, so if one busts, you know what size the bits are to replace it or something…. i don’t know if i’m explaining it correctly, but i think i grasp the concept.

I have no idea what you are talking about, and I could really care less. But, you should totally add a rug on the floor, and unless you are having hookers over you SHOULD SO NOT get the “bookends” Cole suggested.
