No Country for Old Men

I finally managed to watch To Have and Have Not, a DVD I’ve had from Netflix for I don’t know how long. I thought it was pretty good. It was of course the legendary film where Bogey and Bacall first met and fell in love.

I also finally managed to see No Country for Old Men in the theater. It’s been out a while, and I’ve been wanting to see it for quite some time. It was highly rated on IMDb, so I was glad to catch it still in the theater. As the credits were rolling, I was still trying to formulate an opinion; I still don’t think I have. My initial reaction to the ending wasn’t good, but now I’m sort of confused, and thinking that I should watch it again to try to better understand the nuance…
